It's a nice place to relax with two steambath, a small pool, showers and two rooms which are separated by a curtain to make you own peeling ;-). You got towels for free. There is a other room for relaxing with free water, tea and apples. If you like you can order a soup or something else I forgot what... More

We spent a Sunday afternoon there, and we were very satisfied particulary with the bubble treatment, a massage made of hot bubbles. As for the rest, it is a pretty standard spa with hot water pool, a couple of steam rooms and a relaxing area. All in all, price wise too, is all right.

Nice bath house in St. Johann in a former railway building. Simplistic and stylish interior design. They have to small steam saunas, a small pool, and plenty of places to relax. The massages are also worth a try.

Built into an old train station, Dampf°Bad is the perfect place to unwind. Don't bother bringing anything along, they've got you covered: Towels, shampoo, conditioner, even brushes and q-tips. The hamam itself is, beautifully built, modern, features two steam baths, a pool, and you may treat yourself with a massage (at additional cost, though). We love coming here on rainy... More

Great place to have a short break. Do the massage and you receive free entrance to the Dampfbad - well worth it!

Many thanks for your positive feedback and we are glad to hear that you did enjoy it. Just one note: it is possible to combine the entrance with a massage (combi-package-offer), but actually our guests are also welcome to enjoy only the massage (without using the Hamam-facilities). Both works. More

This was my first time in hamam (i have been to wellness many times before though) and it was such a pleasant surprise to find this beautiful place in the middle of Basel. the building from outside looks nothing special, but the moment you step inside and start walking upstairs, they have it decorated nicely in style with the theme.... I was pretty disappointed when I went there with my three year old daughter that small children are not allowed in the hamam. We had to leave again. It seems odd to me to advertise the hamam as working with people "from traditional hamam cultures who will have you enjoy an authentic hamam experience" and then not allow your own... More

I have had many massages before, but I can safely say I have never (repeat NEVER) had a massage like I did at this place (ask for the turkish guy). You pay about 130 francs, but you also get to sit in a sauna and swim in their heated pool with bubble jets. This was a great find! THey even... More
