Don't just walk past this church. Go in. Sit down. Admire the stain glass. Such a calm and peaceful place on a busy sightseeing walk through Basel. And the architecture! Look up for gargoyles.

218 steps to top. Well worth it for the views but make sure it is a clear day. Stairs are narrow and spiral upwards. Dark in places.

Nice energy in this building which at present as I understood is a non denominational space. For a suggested 5 Franc donation you can walk up to the steeple tower for some stunning views of the city.

Saw the church steeple and thought it might be worth visiting. Glad that I went to see it. Lit a candle. Was welcomed by the volunteers in the church which is an ecumenical church administered by both Catholic and Protestant denominations.
