Did a hike last summer (2018) to Mont Saleve. It was gruelling but well worth it. The views of Geneva and surrounding areas are fantastic.

It's only some 30/45 minutes away from Geneva, and definitly worth going there. You will get amazing views of Geneva. It's not expensive, not crowded. Just take the bus and come here and enjoy the nature, there's even a small restaurant.

Our day trip excursion to the Mount is, by all means, a popular destination. Our relaxing escape into nature was really interesting and we went up to Salève by Cable Car. We were lucky, as the weather was not bad at all. The adult one-way...More

If you need to get brilliant views of Geneva take a short trip from Geneva to Mont Saleve and then the cable car up to the top of the mountain and then enjoy the views.

I was in Geneva and decided to take the cable car to the top of Mont Saleve. It was a great outing! This is a slightly off-beat activity. The walk to the cable car station itself is pretty, and you don't see a lot of...More

Short bus trip on the local bus, then a stunning cable car ride to the top. Top of the Mont is more of a rolling plateau with a steep side facing Geneva. Fantastic views in all directions on a clear day.

Hello! The cable car is in 10 minutes from top to the bottom, so is in reverse side. Now the time slot between two cable car is half an hour. In summer this is 15 minutes.

The nearest mountain you get get to would probably be Mont Saleve. I'm not sure if there would be a lot of snow at this time of the year, but you can double check in advance of your trip on the mountain forecast webpage.

No that is not part of the Geneva pass, but the #8 bus is.
