Located in the old town it is hard to miss the striking building. On the inside the ceilings are beautiful and so ornate. In the evening it is lit up on the hill standing out against the city.

We felt the inside was not as grand as we had anticipated. Modern chandeliers with stained glass old windows. Very understated interior. Lovely from the outside!

The views at the top are excellent and it is 5 Francs to do this which is quite reasonable. The stairs are steep and pretty narrow so wouldn't be suitable for anyone who has difficulty walking. Inside the Cathedral is quite plain compared to other...More

The cathedral itself is not the most impressive cathedral I ever visited (Paris, Seville or Cologne have more interesting ones). The towers are worth a visit (only 154 steps which is not as high as some other cathedrals). You need a ticket to access the...More

You may not have the courage at first to go up the tower, climbing around 200 steps in a tiny staircase, but I assure you, the view of Geneva from up there is worth the effort!

Nice gothique cathédrale merite a visit in Genève; inside contains some fine sculptures, on the top you have a fantastic view on the city.

Bit of a climb through the old town to get to it, but if you can make it up there, you'll appreciate having done so. Home to "Calvin's Chair" this historic cathedral represents all that was the reformation and provides some pretty amazing sights to...More

Hi, kanjer2015. What would you like to know about this attraction? When I looked at the Cathedral website it was all in French (sorry do not speak French)and I could not find or try to decipher the opening times anywhere. Can anyone please help as we would really like to visit it. From from I could see the Secretariat was only open during the week - is the cathedral not open at weekends? Surely it must be open on sundays?
