Called the QUEEN of mountains by some people. Google "Mount Rigi Views" and you might know why....Tickets ain't cheap, but going to the top with either option is well worth it. This should be combined with a bit of hiking up in those mountains. Enjoy.

We took the cog train to the top of Mt. Rigi. There is a nice view of Lake Lucerne from the top, and the alps. It was chilly when we were up there (in August), so wear a jacket.

Since I spend a lot of tourist time in this area, I go up the mountain as often as I can. It’s so different in every season and always amazing. In late fall, you’ll go from green to frozen and it can be absolutely magical...More

Dear sarahrK8972JZ, thank you for taking your time to write about your experience on Mount Rigi. It is indeed a very spectactular feeling riding through the clouds with the cable car. But as well without clouds, the view and its far-sightedness is unique. It is...More
