Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I did an exchange semster at University of St. Gallen as part of my Masters at Columbia University. The campus is located at the hill of St. Gallen. St. Gallen is a picturesque medieval town. The main and executive uni campus is a piece of contemporary architecture and hosts an impressive collection of works from surrealist artists that include Arp, Giacometti and Miró. Also several sculptures and paintings from eo-expressionist and Italian transavantgarde artists can be found. Worth to see if you are into contemporary art.

As a tourist I would not visit the place. For students however it is a very good university. From the university you have a nice view.

Can't imagine a more picturesque university campus with a mountain view. The architecture is stark, puritan and functional.
The many art pieces displayed throughout the campus are well worth the visit!

Wonderful architecture around the campus with some spectacular artworks inside. The youth vibe just adds to the whole experience. Very Cool.

We did not see the inside of the buildings, but the buildings are attractive to look at. The view of St. Gallen is great from this area. It looked very quiet, but that was probably because of the holiday season (July)

On HSG's main campus (Dufourstrasse 50), the two main buildings are packed with great artwork - from Calder over Miro, Braque and Arp to Richter, Giacometti and many more. Nearly all art is publicly accessible (no entry fee). Opening times 0700 to 2200 Mon-Fri, 0700-1600 Sat except for recess periods (0700-2100).

This is a university with power as far as I can understand in many levels. Have been there for the first time at our sons master double graduation celebration. The facility's that we have seen was a very nice place. Can realy understand that the teachers or professors like to work at this university. And of course to be a student there as well.

Situated on a hill in St. Gallen, the University is one of the most coveted in the country. I was there for the Symposium in May and it was a great experience! The view of the surrounding areas is breathtaking.

The university is well deisgned. The main building has the architecture in the form of head. It requires a bit of walk uphill.
