This is a must stop for anyone in the area. Where else can you take a train ride up through a mountain? Once you are up there you have a 90 min self guided tour that is clearly marked. We then had lunch overlooking the mountain which was very nice. One bit of caution: it is really cold up there... More

This was probably one of the main highlights of mine and my friends Europe trip - the top of Jungfrau has views to die for and you could easily spend the whole day there, whilst it also caters for those with not a lot of time on their hands. For the highest point in the whole of Europe - it... More

This is one of those trips that you need to do. just once is enough unless the weather is bad while your up there. Breathtaking from start to finish. Took my breath away at how the hell some Italian men in no more than suits dug through the Eiger mountain.... Superb... The view points in the Eiger mountain stations on... More

What a sight. I'd never felt real snow before so it was quite an experience, very overwhelming. Lovely train ride. The Indian restaurant is amazing.

We spent one to two hours in Jungfrau having reached there from Kleine Scheidegg by the cog wheel train. We went to see the weather observatory and Ice Palace with Ice Carving and came out to open space where we can enjoy free snow experience! If you have not had it before, you can play with snow like your childhood... More

From the start to the end, this was a top experience! It is very expensive, but you can manage it for one time! What to say, the view, the games at the snow, Aletsch glacier, the whole journey? Please arrive at Kleine Scheidegg early in the morning, we were there the first week of October 2016 and there were crowds... More

We took the train to Jungfrau from Grindelwald and spent about 3 hours on top. That was enough time unless you want to make one of the hikes. Excellent trip, beautiful views, make sure of weather before leaving. We had Swiss Half Fare Pass for trains which gave us a good discount on the trip.

Jungfrau is the mountain peak which can be viewed from Jungfraujoch observatory along with Aletsch glacier and Monch and Eiger ranges. The observatory provides beautiful view to Jungfrau, as well as access to Aletsch glacier. The train route to the top is very scenic, apart from the last part which goes through tunnels. It's a must see if weather is... More
