The Alp of Pfingstegg ist THE viewpoint of Grindelwald. With the only Areal tramway of Grindelwald you can go up to the Alp where lush meadows, glaciers close enough to touch and get a magnificent view to the valley. Experience an action-packed ride on our toboggan run and then enjoy the view from the restaurant terrace, or one of the many seating areas. 2016 , we will expand our range of playground for Kids and adults. We're open from May to October. Pfingstegg - THE Grindelwald Paradise!

My wife and I visited here in August 2017 after spending the morning on First. The short gondola ride takes to a nice overlook of Grindelwald and is a gateway to several great trails.

This place was just such a lovely surprise. Going up the cable car we were absolutely alone in the cabin in the most gorgeous setting, v romantic. The restaurant was fantastic too, small third generation family owned restaurant, very sweet owners. If weather permits, the...More

While this may not be the most impressive cable car to take in regard to height or length, the view is equally as impressive as other ones accessible from Grindelwald. The toboggan run is excellent fun and you don't even need to walk back up...More

We never did outdoor toboggan, so, as good tourists we followed the ads of the city. It was fun but nothing so amazing as expected. Less than 1 min to go down. Boom that's it. If you have kids, a Big Yes, otherwise...go to enjoy...More

Hello MacaronProd Thank you for your opinion. Unfortunately the run is just as long as it is: 736 m Of course it would be even more fun if it would be longer. But compared to other toboggan runs ours is quite long. We recommend to...More
