It's like you're walking through another time. And the Crevasse is huge. It takes quite a while to walk through. The water below, while well below average because of lack of rainfall/snow, is still the prettiest light blue color. Definitely worth the trip to Meringen.

We were amazed what nature can do to creat it throughout centuries. I think it was a right season time to visit it (in October) as you can really enjoy the walk without crowded by tourists. Highly recommended! It's very special.

An exciting tour through a narrow gorge of a mighty river. Do it with time. Take advantage of every minute and step.

Easy walk (no hiking boots needed) on wood planks, a few areas of steps. About 40 minutes one way (taking pictures and embracing the beauty) and 25 minutes back. Lovely way to spend the morning from interlaken.

Noisy fast flowing river, easy walk steep steps at the end. A little slippery in places due to humidity. Excellent!

We did Reichenbach and A are gorge comfortably in one day. It does take about 2 hours to walk the Aare gorge but this leaves no time for lòking at the sights and I treating points along the way.
