Good atmosphere, even when Wengen is quiet towards the end of season and with visitor numbers restricted by Covid 19. We had totally missed this bar last time we came and even for a few days this time until someone mentioned it. Really nice small bar, good atmosphere, nice surroundings - modern and clean, good service.

Wengen may well be a party town in the winter but in summer, it's rather quiet. Obviously most people are there for the hiking and sightseeing but it's nice, after a day in the mountains, to relax with a drink in sympathetic surroundings. You will not be spoilt for choice. We popped into all the bars in Wengen (this didn't take long) and the only one we would return to is Tanne Bar. In fact, it's the only bar in Wengen that has the prerequisites to be called a bar: cosy atmosphere; good drinks choice; engaging bar staff; decent music at the right level. If I had a complaint, as a beer drinker, I would demand a better choice of beer but everyone else was drinking spirits and cocktails, and they all looked perfectly happy.…

The bar is the place in Wengen to meet new and interesting people. The staff are fun and normally a bit cheeky... we like that.

Were here a couple of evenings, both early and late. Quite small and easy going with cool, but not overdone, interiors. Very nice atmosphere. A lot of people, mainly skiers, and get’s quite loud in the late evening. Great variety of whiskeys and gins, but also good champagne... Fab service! Attentive, quick, friendly and professional! Perfect location on the main street. …
