The castle of Tourbillon is a great place to catch a view on the Rhone Valley. There is not much to see inside, it is more aquin to ruins than a castle, but the view is well worth it. You might want to combine the visit with a tour of the art museum just below, which used to be a... More

The view of Chateau is amazing. You can climb easily because there are many stairs. When you are climbing, I am sure that you feel that this experience is a good choice. There is a cheateu named Valley opposite of Tourbillion Chateau. There is a cafeteria in Valley. The price öf cafe with milk is 3.5 Frank. It is cheap... More

It was beautiful. But it doesn't have anything, just some walls. In the way, it had a little annoying ramp that after walking, my knees become painful. I suggest you if your knees are weak, certainly use knee strap and enjoy hiking.

When parking in the brown signposted car park ensure you park on the lower level as the top level is reserved for residents. Parking is paid for at the meter and in English. The climb to the top was straight forward enough but not accessible for wheelchair or pushchair. The view from the top was good but this is all... More

From Sion there are several castles to see and view - fairly easy but steep walk up, you will be happy to have made the trip

We timed our visit on a very sunny day and I would seriously recommend going to this attraction either as a family or with a partner. My partner and I had a nice walk up to the castle (bit of a steep walk, not wheel chair friendly sadly) and as we climbed, the views of Sion got better and better.... More

It took us more or less 10min to reach the castle. Great view at the top, you can see the city and the château Valère. The castle itself is nothing but ruins. I recommend it to visit on a good whether.

After a short climb, the view you get from up there on the rhone valley is amazing! The castle in itself doesn t offer much to visit except for the building in itself, though it is in a good condition!

I am there on q regular basis and I have to say when the sun is shi ing and it is hot, it is a very special atmosphere. The smell of broken rocks and dry plants, the exceptional view on the whole valais, and the mysterious radiation of the castle ruins is amazing (provided you are into that). Recommend only... More
