I have been to the top of the Klein Matterhorn many times and I never cease to be amazed by the view when you emerge from the long tunnel from the cable car into the light. This time the weather was magnificent and the ski from the top was a great treat. There is a red run over the glacier... More

The cable car ride to the top of Klein Matterhorn is a must-do in Switzerland. It is the highest sightseeing point in Europe with breathtaking views. First we got on a four person gondola then transferred to a 120 person car. It was so much fun and you can see forever! A viewing platform at the top to take pictures... More

With the Gondel to the klein Matterhorn (3800 m). First to the ice cave in the glacier than to the restaurant for Kaffee mit Kuchen and finally to the viewpoint with the elevator. Breathtaking view four thousand meter high peaks and glaciers, in a word fantastic!

An amazing place to visit for the best ice sculptures that I have ever seen. It's very cold down there to keep the ice from melting (around -5C), so take gloves and a hate. This can be reached from Zermatt on the Matterhorn Express cable car system, via Furi and Schwarzee/Trockener Steg. Well worth the CHF8.- entry.

For skiers and sight seers alike, taking the cable car to Klein Matterhorn is a must. You get out of the cable car and walk through a tunnel through the mountain to access the ski slopes and views. While in the tunnel, you can also take a lift up about another 100 metres and take a short walk to the... More

The ride getting there is half the fun, fantastic views and unique cable car (highest in Europe). The observation platform is a must, lots of photos to take from there with views of the Matterhorn from a different angle. The glacier museium is fun to visit, does not take too long and is not that cold. The cinema lounge is... More

It's really difficult to breath when the glacier is breathtaking and the oxygen concentration is too low at the top of the mountain. The glacier is located underground, can be reach by elevator. Make sure you adapted to the surrounding before you go down to the glacier paradise which has even lesser oxygen.

Takes some time to get to top. Very high up and can be above the clouds. Quite expensive to get up there with return ticket if you are not skiing. Extremely cold at view point. Interesting to go inside glacier and look at some ice sculptures. Good half day activity if you do not ski.

Phenomenal view at 3800m, with a restaurant, a cinema, a panoramic view, and when you're all done you can take the first slope and get down gain!
