Words cannot describe how amazing this was. I really did not know climbing this mountain was on my bucket list but I can know check it off. It takes time to go up the mountain so enjoy the ride. I would suggest that you get...More

A small, but busy and well-stocked restaurant, probably one of the highest, by altitude, in the world. We made two visits, had coffee and snacks and a very comfortable rest after visiting the Ice Palace.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip. You go up in cable cars first. Then the last leg you get into a gondola for the last trip. It is very expensive to go up. But when you get to the top the views are...More

It was really neat to see the Matterhorn from this view. They had other fun things to do once up there. I wish I would have known about the walks before leaving because we didn't leave enough time.

The place is incredible, the view is wonderful and the mountain is breathtaking. It's the kind of place you look in all directions and marvel at every angle.

Set up at 12,000 feet, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A comfortable cable car will whisk you up from Zermatt and after 40 minutes you'll arrive. Take it easy because the air is thin. Bring a jacket and enjoy the scenery and the ice cave.

An awesome experience, a 360 degree panoramic view of the Alps and especially the matterhorn. High enough to have Switzerland on one side and Italy on the other.

Remember to take additional clothing because of the temperature difference at the summit. Get as early a gondola as possible from Zermatt and get straight on the cable car at Trockener Steg to get you to the MGP as early as possible. This will be...More

Truly a rare experience. It is not often that one has the opportunity to see the world from the height of 12,739 feet. We were there on a partially cloudy day in June, but the clouds added to the mystic of the experience. We did...More

Lucerne to Interlaken is half the trip time and far less transfers to make with a little one. If you are feeling brave and you want to make your way to Zermatt you won’t be able to take the gondolas or funicular up and back... More

September is only going to have the very top of the mountain open for skiing on the glacier at the top. It is only a T bar lift on both the Swiss and Italian side. The Swiss and Italian national ski teams are up their... More
