Great 360°C view

Loads of stairs to climb but worth doing to enjoy the view of Lausanne and suburbs. The Sauvabelin park is a nice place to go to enjoy the forest. Relaxing and fun for everyone

Enjoy the romantic sunset from Sauvabelin tower. There is a spectacular view all over Lausanne, Alps and Geneva lake. The surroundings are great for a Sunday walk or if you fancy an intense run.

I really loved this place, we walked a lot and we went wrong way! After half an hour we found out it was just near the bus stop And really worth to go there, spectacular scenery!

From the top of this tower you will have a fantastic view of Lausanne and the Lake (Lac Lehman - also known as Lake Geneva). It has a bi-directional spiral staircase that would not be suitable for really young children. From the look-out deck at the top you have 360 degree panoramic views from one of the highest hilltops around... More

from this tower you will have a beautiful view of Lausanne and arounds. You will have a lot of stairs to climb but the final result is really cool.

you climb up this wooden tower on a very interesting staircase. It is free and you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake, lausanne and the surroundings. Make sure weather is nice though...

The Sauvabelin Tower is undergoing repairs from April to July 29, 2016. The lake is also empty, undergoing some reconstruction activity. The large wooded park is still a pleasant outing, easy to get to, take the #16 bus from Ste Francois stop above the train station.

not hard to do and to go and see... Have a try.... it is free and make exercises ! it offers a 360° view on Lausanne and its surrounding. It is next to a nice park and lake where oyu can also have a typical swiss lunch or dinner.

Not to be missed if you dare to walk all the way up to the observation deck. Yes! No elevator. But it will be worth your while. The tower itself is located in the middle of a wood in the north of Lausanne. The bus number 16 will take you there and you will need to walk about 5 minutes... More

Was there yesterday, and the tower is still closed. Repairs were ongoing. Shame, can imagine the views would be great from the top so will go back another time. Even so, it's a pretty impressive structure to come across in the middle of the forest.
