If you're on Lake Geneva check out Freddie Mercury's Memorial. It's a very popular attraction so you are going to have to time your photos op. as everyone is trying to get 'that' shot in front of his statue. A fitting memorial to a great rocker.

Nice statue in a beautiful place. Must visit for all the Queen admirers. Not really much going on, but you know... Freddy... Mauntreaux...all that jazz

It seems to be a must that every Queen fan has a photo taken, by family or friends, by this slightly larger then life statue of legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. You'll easily find it if you walk on the lakeside promenade in Montreux to the Casino.

Loved visiting the Freddie Mercury memorial and finding out a bit more about his relationship with Montreux, which also made us want to visit the small museum there.

Epic scenery surrounding Freddie. Such an amazing tribute to the legend. I can see perfectly why he had a home in Montreux "it's bliss!"

Visiting this statue takes only a minute in Montreux, youll see it if you meander down the promenade for long enough. Interesting story behind its placement there.

As we walked upon the waterfront route, we came upon this statue. It is was a delightful view to be amongst, especially as the water lies in the background. Absolutely beautiful! If you are ever in these parts, please give it a visit!

I must admit I always though Freddy was a good singer, but it was until I had the chance to visit Montreux and the Memorial and the Qeen Experience that I could fully understand and admire one of the most talented human beings of the latest years. Freddy was not only an incredible singer and composer, but also an excellent... More

The monument is awesome and definitely one of the landmarks of the city. It has breathtaking views from there to the Alps and Lake Geneva.
