Beautiful church . One of the main four churches of Zurich . It is a must see because if the beautiful 5 large stained glass windows designed by artist Mark Chagall and installed in 1970 . It also has a 9 meter stained glass work of Augusto Giacometti .

We wanted to see the Fraumunster because of the Chagall windows, but were disappointed. The staff was very aggressive about not allowing photography, presumably so that you had to buy postcards. There is a small basement with an exhibit about the history of the building which is interesting.

It is a former abbey for aristocratic women which was founded in 853 by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. You must visite it for 5 wonderful stained glass of Chagall.

This church has an iconic green-topped clock tower with an exquisite, large clock face. It has some gorgeous stained glass windows--at least one by Mark Chagall. In close proximity to many notable Swiss landmarks and the river.

The church is another example of a medieval church in a old city. The interior is in the style of the reform (simplistic) period, and is worth a visit. It is situated along the river and adjacent to an interesting city square. There are several stone street plaques outside the church thanking the citizens of Switzerland for generosity to refugees...
