Though not the largest collection, everything was tastefully and impeccably arranged, with each area a core thematic purpose aimed to enhance the experience. Audio guide (free) on point, with tasteful arrangement of artwork of various genre and era. Best thing is, free entry on Wednesdays!

On a sunny Sunday morning I went to visit the museum and the Ludwig Kirchner exhibition. It's so easy to get there (3 stop from the main train station with tram number 3) and the place is extremely well organised. Lockers for free, cafeteria with ample seating available indoors and outside. Museum shop a tiny bit expensive. The rooms are... More

This is relatively large art museum exhibitions showing paintings by very many artists. There are lots of works by famous artists but frankly speaking most of the paintings are maybe not among their master works.

Not very big , not very small but fantastic collection of paintings. Impressive,a high spot for people that love art. It is not on the main walking routes but it is very close to all main sightseeings.

My wife and I were thrilled to see the excellent art exhibition "Ernst Ludwig Kirchner - The Berlin years" which will be around until May 7th 2017. The admission fee is pretty high (CHF 23) but you will enjoy the many lovely art works by this amazing artist. We also bought the very good catalogue of the exhibition as well... More

this museum is a museum I do like, always something peculiar to see and unexpected. Then, it's not that huge so 1 or 2 hours is diong the job quite well.

It's not a big museum, so I was surprised to see so many great paintings. I liked the impressionist exhibition the most.

A wide collection of artists: Chagall, Picasso, Van Gogh, Andy Wharrol... All the art you can ask for, it's here! Room by room, you go through the history of Art, and the price was quite fair. I've found a little bit evasive, that the artists' works were not together, you could find a work of Chagall in a room and... More
