"Mein" Herz von Zürich

Whenever I am close to Lindenhofplatz I just have to stop by and sit on the wall for a short break. The view, the trees around... Awesome

We walked here for our hotel to meet a friend and we were pleasantly surprised by the view, it was lovely looking over the river and at the old church. It's worth the walk up to the park and it would be beautiful in summer

Wander around the narrow winding streets and head up here for a great view over the river and old town. Perhaps on a sunny day bring your packed lunch up here

A place to stop by and enjoy the view: The skyline of the Limmat. Combine it with a stroll through the old town.

This hilltop park is a serene open space with views, and the surrounding neighborhood contains narrow winding streets and old buildings. Cross to the other side of the river for more restaurant selections and more favorable prices if you are on a budget in this expensive city.

Very close to the main shopping street Bahnhofstrasse, the Lindenhofplatz provides good views over the Limmat river and also towards Zurichsee (Lake Zurich). Well worth the short climb.

Would my way up the streets to get to this square that overlooks the city and canal. You get great views and the place seems very popular with all types. Could spend a bit of time simply people watching and taking in the views.

Lindenhofplatz in Zurich is one of those places where people just know how to get to. Located in old part of Zurich, one of the most attractive thing about it is that it gives you a bird’s eye view of Zurich Old Town, the City Hall, Grossmunster Church, etc. This hillside park is great for strolling around and people watching.... This was a very quick stop off on the way to other things but it was well worth the visit. You get views from over the river nearby over the east side of Zürich. There's also giant chess sets if you fancy a game while you're there.
