We visited on Saturday 23 September at 1.45pm, ordered, at 2.00pm, two main meals and one baguette. We were told there was a 30 minute wait, which was understandable as pub was busy. However, one hour later, I went to ask what was happening and...More

I do love a pub in the countryside and this is one of the best. You can do some really nice walks to it along the river and then just enjoy the scenery and outdoor food.

Thoroughly enjoyed cross guns. We moored the boat very close by, and came across the lovely pub. Friendly staff, excellent food, amazing location and views . Short Walking distance to station .

We often stop here on a cycle ride for a cup of tea, and are impressed with the friendly staff in the deli shed, and the refurbished garden. Yesterday we decided to have lunch from the pub menu. The tacos we ordered were cold, bland...More

Walked from Bradford on Avon for a couple of pints and a meal at the Cross Guns. Didn't realise it had been hipstered. Uninspiring overpriced menu and real ale with the clarity of canal water meant we walked back to BOA and ate elsewhere. Another...More
