We went by train and passed this station. The main hall is very spacious and is nicely decorated. Probably because of the time of the year. All shops which you might need and expect to be on a station are there. It’s a nice place...More
Arnhem has a special station. The roof is turned and rests on a very nice pillar. This pillar is so large that it is made in parts in the shipping industry. Well worth a visit and drink a coffee in the 'living room' Huiskamer.
Just an other place where many people come to go away from town, pick up friends or family or start a journey. But what a great building! It's an absolute must see if you're in Arnhem and have a soft spot for great art and/or...More
I was amazed by this modern building which was looking like concert hall.
Moreover, they have piano inside where everyone can try it.
Beautiful music playing and you want to stop and listen.
It's probably the best railway station I ever seen.
We were quite amazed to see this modern train station. Quite takes your breath away and a nice change from seeing train stations deserted and closing in other places. Many restaurants nearby and parking below.
It took quite a while this transformation of this Central Station. But now it has an international allure. I like the architecture and the convenience too. But there are a few things which can be improved: travellers need ATM machines, better directions to the busstops.
A wonderfully built architetonic masterpieece of a trainstation. the station hall is certainly worth a visit, but as a commuter, I know it is a beauty that gets the job done. Comfy train station overall with many utilities.

Super easy!! There's direct trains from Amsterdam Central (and other stations) to Arnhem Central station and from there you can easily take a few different buses that run regularly each hour! They usually also provide shuttle buses when there are events in the Gelredome! Enjoy!!! Oh and yeah 9292ov.nl for public transport timetables, English too!!
