Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you like cars, or especially trucks, you will enjoy this museum. A great range of vehicles showing the history of DAF, with a great range of trucks. buses and of course cars. Also a small but informative display about Michelotti the car designer. Well worth a detour for a couple of hours.

Very nice to see how committed the people of the DAF Museum are to the pieces in the museum. You could call it clumsy and a bit nerdy, but in my opinion that only makes it more fun. In addition, there are truly special models, such as the trucks that have driven Dakar rallies! I would definitely visit there!

Super cozy museum if you are a car enthusiast. I saw many DAFs driving in my youth. Museum is nicely set up with clearly readable texts for each car.
Had a coffee in the canteen with a huge apple turnover for a total of 4.80. Where do you see such prices these days?

Really surprising, when you arrive and see the outside you think... is this all? Once inside it's really amazing, 3 floors full of nostalgia from the Daf dynasty.
There is something to see and experience for everyone from large to small , young and old .
The stories of the (former ) employees who walk around and to whom you can ask anything make it really worthwhile to go.
Enjoyed the cars , stories and everything to see there, definitely recommended.

Large retrospective exhibition with a variety of DAF automobiles. From trucks, buses to the DAF 33. Also a collection of cars from other brands. Start with the movie in the theater.
Museum annual card is valid. Good for when you are less mobile. Toilet available. Also a small shop where miniatures are for sale.

We spent a morning here with our friends from our association. This museum is a feast of recognition. (We are already a little older) And yet we also saw cars that we had not encountered before, such as a car for the beach of the Royal House. In addition, everything is displayed and arranged in a nice, attractive way. Our guide's explanation of the origins was extensive and good. The old army trucks that I drove during military service brought back many memories. Friendly people, a very nice collection and very accessible.

Easy to find from the station, a 20 min walk. Friendly staff who were very willing to answer questions or offer additional information about the exhibits. There was a range of exhibits, some interesting ones, even for a non-car nerds! We were able to sit in the cab of a tractor unit, which was fun. Good to see a family firm that looks after its employees - look out for the range of Christmas gifts given to the staff from years gone by, fascinating! Excellent cafe with basic snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. The shop offers a variety of items, again seemed very reasonably priced.

This museum show the history of the only Truck Factory from The Netherlands DAF TRUCKS N.V.. It starts from the first workshop till today. Many truck models on display also some nice trucks from the Parijs Dakar really. Special kids area and a small shop at the end.
You can spend a nice two three hours in this museum together with your kids you can get an impression of DAF TRUCKS. We spend a lot of hours here together with the kids who like to run around and see and touch the huge trucks, but off course when you are a kid everything looks big.

I visited the place expecting something much bigger, e.g. you still have a few cars and trucks but far to be a good museum for a manufacture.
The cars are not very famous outside Netherlands and are only small cars, so is something that for a foreign is not so interesting.
The truck which is the core business of DAF, there is a few models, including old models and army models (used more by Netherlands army), 3 trucks of Dakar, but I was expecting more. Maybe more disappointed, because i was expecting more models of Dakar, once DAF have some history with this type of competition and because this is a manufacture museum.
So, pay 9 or 10 eur to visit a museum like this, I think is too much, but is my opinion.

The DAF museum describes the history of one of the few car building companies in The Netherlands, located in Eindhoven. Nowadays they only build trucks but once upon a time DAF made unique cars with a unique invention: the continuous variable transmission. The museum has many examples and well restored cars and trucks and gives insight in the development, thrive and demise of the company.
