Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We found the Walk and dine website and decided it would be a great way to celebrate our sons 20th birthday.
The ordering was easy, and around noon we got an e-mail with the route and the restaurants. We also got a link to a pdf to download with our route and reservations.
However, the two were not the same. I wrote and asked, which one was the right one and got an answer. However, they had to change the pdf on the website for us to get the right one - and i took a while.
When I finally got access, the times for the meals were alteret from the original ones. The website says to begin the tour at 6 - which you would believe should leave you enough time to see the sights they plan for you before you reach the first restaurant. But the pdf said we had to be at the first cafe between 5.30 and 6.30. We were not able to begin the Tour before 6, and so had to skip most of the sights to be there on time.
As we reached the place for our maincourse, we met a retired couple from Wisconsin, who had not caught on to the two different routes, and unfortunately had followed the one on the pdf. The place they went to for their starters had been out of business for more than a year!
The waitress, where we had the maincourse, asked us, what time we were told to be there (which was between 7 and 8), because they had been told we would be there at 6.
Furthermore, at all three places the first Bill we got included a walkanddine fee or drinks, though all were removed without objections, when we told that food and a drink was already paid for.
So why 3 Stars instead of 1? Because the places we went to were great! Delicious food, great atmosphere and VERY friendly service. Places, we would not have discovered on our own. Our 3 teens, who are rarely impressed, LOVED it.
If the People behind the walkanddine work out their issues, they have a great thing going here. In spite of the missed sights and time-concerns, it was a great evening.

We had a lovely evening. We received the directions and names of the restaurants and a description of the sites along the route by email.
The route guided us along beautyful canals, lovely shops and 3 excellent cosy restaurants.
We enjoyed the great service, superb foods and the diversity in restaurants.
We stayed for more drinks after coffee and dessert at the last restaurant, wich was conveniently next to the Rembrandt Plein.
A great experience, will do it again and recommend it to everybody!

I have done the dinner tour together with my girlfriend and her parents. We were provided with both an online and offline map. Although, the online map worked out perfectly. Also, the food was exactly as I expected: nice value for money! In the end they left me a nice surprise, as it was my birthday :)

The Walk & Dine dinner-tour is recommendable. The communication was clear, and the special map was working perfectly for me and my girlfriend. Besides, the restaurants were very fancy and above expectation. Well done!
