Outstanding walking tour - Don’t miss it!

In Amsterdam there’s a limit of 15 partipants per tourguide so if you want to guarantee your spot is recommend to pay a small fee to guarantee your spot !

I did a tour with a local and it was perfect !
It’s worth to spend more than 2 hours with a professional tour guide ! Tip your tour guide, let’s support freetours, the best way to discover a new city ! Thanks NIELS for the wonderful experience 😁

The tour was great,as every Sandemans i've been before and i recomend it to everybody.
Bram is an excellent guide with a great sense of humor and lots of interesting facts and harizma!

It was pouring rain but our guide Bram Smitt made it fun and entertaining 🙌🇳🇱✌️. He had visual supports to help the understanding of the content. Try it folks!

Our party of four were left without a tour

Do not use SANDMANs free walking tours. I have used free walking tours in the past with great success unfortunately that was not the case for the walking tour we booked in advance for Amsterdam on 9/23. When we met the guide he advised us that he could only take 15 people and he was only taking those who paid the $3.00 in advance on the site. Four in our party were left without a tour. They should not take advanced bookings if they can not accommodate them.

Unprofessional guide and overbooked tour

Pre-booked the tour the day before. Arrived 5 minutes ahead of schedule and was actively ignored by the guide when I presented my QR code for scanning. Guide (BS) then proceeded to scan people who arrived later, turning his back to me and refusing to scan mine because the numbers just kept arriving, and I was subsequently told the tour was over-subscribed.

Can’t understand that as a business model. Why allow people to continue to book a tour inline if there’s an upper limit on those allowed to partake? Not to mention the behaviour of the guide.

Very disappointed with this experience - up until this we had nothing but positive experiences with Sandeman tour operators in various destinations.

I have taken Sandeman's tours all over Europe and have never been disappointed. I love that they give the guides free reign to add in their own flair and interests.

We took the tour with our 6 month old baby and had a blast!

Bram was witty and clever. He gave us so much energy even though our tour group didn't give him much back. He was knowledgable about past and current events, even adding in some of his own stories of growing up in Holland which we loved. He even stopped along the tour to treat us to stroopwafel which was a delight!

Did the tour with Bram Smit!! He is super funny and enter!! Found out some interesting facts about amsterdam I wouldn’t know if i didnt take the tour! Really recommend him and the tour! What a treat!! Love love ❤️

Great way to see Amsterdam

We had a GREAT tour with Yasmin! So knowledgeable, engaging, and sweet. She had great photos, recommendations on food, and also told us the history in an engaging way. Would definitely recommend. As an FYI Sandeman’s tour guides get paid only through tips so be sure to have some euros
