We stopped by here briefly after visiting the Van Gogh Museum just for the photo opportunity - it's a great spot for a photo if you're passing!

This is a great place to take photos. This is somewhat of a landmark and is in my opinion a great place to have photos taken for your album.

With the Rijksmuseum at one end and the Concertgebouw at the other, and with the Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum flanking it, the museumplein is central to the cultural life of Amsterdam. It offers great views of the various buildings.

Surely you can't leave Amsterdam without a picture in front of I Am Amsterdam; great way to document your trip. Many climb upon the structure but standing is just fine. It is adjacent to Vondel Park and right by several museums, including Van Gogh.

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
