Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Whilst there is some nice artwork in the arcade, it is not a sight that I would go out of my way to see. The pedestrian street that it runs to is far more interesting. However, the smell of cannabis is a little overwhelming if you are not used to it.

A lovely covered passage that leads of Damrak, gives the walker the impression that they are walking under a canal.

We have been to Amsterdam three times and during each of those visits we have taken some time out for some photo opportunities in this beautifully decorated short arcade.
During our most recent visit to the city, we had been shopping along the Damrak. When we happened upon this arcade again, we paused there briefly to admire the art work evident on the ceiling, walls and floor tiles. We also managed to snap a few more photographs.
We then continued on through the arcade to do some shopping in the large open pedestrian mall which can be found at the other end of the short arcade.
Certainly worthy a good look if you happen to be in the vicinity!

This was a passageway leading from Damrak st to the pedestrian shopping street that runs parallel. It's clean and looks beautiful with it's arty ceiling and chandeliers

This is a small passage that links two major streets in the center of town. It's notable for the lovely 19th Century architecture. Plus a little shopping.

Classic 19th Century architecture on display here along with a little shopping. Links up 2 major streets in the center. Design is the best part.

It is a small passage nice to see, but for me not worth it especially that it is not even long. If you are in the area go and see it . It will take you 2 minutes . But don’t look for it or go especially.

This is a very pretty passage, not sure if there’s anything more to it. Made for some great photos. Right in the city centre.

This is a small passageway connecting two major streets in downtown Amsterdam. Beurspassage is a short row of stores with impressive paintings and chandeliers. Very photogenic spot for tourists.

We noticed it while walking on Damrak street. It is worth a quick look for the beautifully decorated ceiling and glass chandeliers.
