A wonderful tour and the best cup of tea afterwards! This was a delight for the sense- the art deco features are beautiful. I got talking to one of the staff who told me that she was ever so slightly afraid of the theatre when she was little as it looked like a gothic house!
I’d highly rate this. It’s a cultural gem which could easily be missed.

Sound and screen was good.
But there was a strong cold breeze throughout the movie.

This cinema was large, clean and quiet. Its amongst the high street in this area and offers up to date current movies. Food snacks and drinks are available here too. We actually visited the cinema twice and there were no noisy guests even the children residents were well behaved which isnt always the case where we live when it comes to kids and cinemas! We will certainly visit again next time we are in Amsterdam!

This Multiplex has 7 screens and is one of the largest in the city center. I watched a movie there and I must say the experience was quite good. Nice seats and modern theatres. The concession bar staff are very helpful but the chain can up it game when it comes to food options.

Cracking little cinema with comfy seats. We went to watch Wonka as a family. There is a good range of drinks and snacks available

A beautiful building refurbished to a high standard. The entrance ways and halls and magnificent and lavishly adorned. The seats and the space around them is less that some other cinemas, in our screen at least, but more than comfortable enough for the short 1.5 hour film we watched. There were people all around us talking, rustling and making generally too much noise for us to ever properly enjoy this film, not the cinema owners fault directly but still ruined the experience for us.

I spoke Dutch, but English here is feasible.

While walking around Leidseplein, we saw Pathe City Movie theatre and decided to watch The Avengers: Infinity Wars. We walked in and bought tickets. It’s a very clean and comfortable but it’s 4 floors so we kind of got lost trying to find which theatre the movie was playing in and there was no one to ask...and the ticket was in Dutch! We finally asked the lady selling popcorn! She was the right person because she also gave us the 3D glasses.

English tourists went to see Star Wars here during our city break. Wonderful clean cinema much nicer than any I’ve been to in England!
