Booked the dinner cruise on 5 Oct with a good friend. It was thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing to have dinner while cruising the lovely canals at night. As it was a small vessel, the captain could navigate into small canals and introduce the sights along the way. Food was served piping hot ( it was picked up en route from... More

A week's stay in Amsterdam culminated in this memorable dinner cruise on our last evening. We set off shortly before it got dark and were soon cruising under lit up bridges and between floodlit buildings. The cruise is in a small, traditional canalboat taking just 20 passengers with a captain and hostess. There are dinner cruises available on much larger... More

All and all if you want to have a romantic time in Amsterdam, try to book yourself and your special one for a dinner cruise. This company is a good choice. However, I had some difficulties locating the pier for the cruise so perhaps you need to google it the precise location so you won't have the problem of locating... More

You just have to do a cruise when in Amsterdam. It is a lovely relaxing way of sight seeing and you do notice some interesting buildings when your just sitting there on a boat.

This classy cruise is worth the relatively high cost. It's a truly memorable, distinctive, small-group experience -- and oh yes, also a fine meal. After three days of exploring the city as pedestrians and tram riders, we gained a remarkably different perspective from canal level at dusk and after dark. The elegant craft glides through several canals and the Amstel... More

My husband is convinced that he had the best food of our entire European vacation on the Jewel cruise. The food was truly delicious and elegant! (It appeared that everyone on our trip purchased the deluxe package). Charming venue - small, intimate, very classy - and friendly staff who occasionally drew our attention to points of interest. I was concerned... More

If I could have given this rating more than 'excellent' I would have. This trip was a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect. The boat is beautiful with wooden panelling. It only holds seven couples so it is small and intimate and all the tables have a view. We sat at one of... More

Enjoyed the small antique boat. Being on a small boat gave every table a window view. The service is very good. The food which is picked up at a restaurant is excellent. I found it very relaxing not to hear a tour guide speech while eating. The waitress did point out a few sites which was perfect.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
