We’re new residents to amsterdam and this is a stunner. the kids section is generously laid out, with plenty of nooks and spaces to spend time with your books. It doesn’t seem to lack for space. Looking forward to returning to it again and again.
I have not had the opportunity or have not put the time to go and visit this place; and it's a shame since it's amazing! Super cool decoration, at the upper floor there is couple of restuarants and bars, and a terrace. 7 floors to...More
What an impressive library. We visited to go to the top floor to view the city views and we were not disappointed.
There are places to eat and drink on the top floor with views which can't be beaten!

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
