Visited with my wife on 15/2/2017 and loved the experience, the room downstairs created the ambiance, Yolanda (Yokie) presented in a jovial manner and was honest enough to ask he boss if she was unsure of the answer. 6 cheeses with wines and port supplied with various ages and created a very enjoyable afternoon which I would hihighly recommend.

Fabulous experience and would highly recommend, you learn about the family / cheese making before tasting some great cheeses with several wines, also a fabulous shop to make purchases after the session!

Went with friends for the craic and really enjoyed it. You get to taste 6 cheeses with wines and port. Definitely recommend doing it if you've got an hour spare in Amsterdam.

Recommended to my wife and me by a merchant who said it was where locals buy cheese: true, but welcoming to tourists. The company has been making its cheeses for more than 100 years, still using old world methods and aging the cheeses on the same century-plus old wood, which contributes to the flavor. Do take advantage of the 15... More

What a great couple of hours learning all about cheese and most importantly tasting it with wine. The tasting session was worth the money, you can eat as much cheese as you like and the lovely woman who does the talk is really nice and informative. 5/5 highly recommend it if you're ever in AMS.

Accompanied with good wine (love the port wine) and got to taste 6 different types of cheese and all this for just 15 Euros! Owner of the shop Ron, is a very friendly person. He will give you... Some great cheese and fabulous wine. Well worth the money. Knowledgeable people so get to know about each stage of the production process. Lactose free cheese too. 👍🏻

Unfortunately we did not manage to do the cheese-tasting, since our previous tour, went longer than scheduled. However we still spent some time wandering in the shop, and the salesperson available was very kind in explaining the different cheeses and tastes. We bought also some to bring back home, and we shall buy some more online as soon as it... More
