Spent a lovely early afternoon strolling through the 9 streets. Lovely shops and quaint side streets. A must do for the shopper that likes to be more off the beaten path and likes to avoid the big stores.

With lots of shops, local brands at the most, its little streets have also many restaurantes and nice places for a hot chocolat or coffee. Good to have a look about local fashion since most of the stores are local brands. But if you care for international brands they are also there.

This is the "9 streets" of Amsterdam which is a pleasant way of spending an hour or two wandering through the small specialist shops and restaurants. Worth a visit if you are in the area but deep pockets are required if you are planning on doing more than window shopping

If you love little individual shops of all types come to these nine streets. Lots of lovely vintage cloths shops mixing with lots of little bars to have a beer in. Takes a couple of hours to do

I love this area. It can be very busy on a Saturday afternoon but every shop is like a gallery. They are styled and funky. I hate shopping but would happily browse for hours around here. Also plenty of cafes and restaurants.

Negen Straatjes is an area of the Canal Ring situated between Raadhuisstraat (north) and Leidsegracht (south) stretching from Singel Gracht (east) to Prinsengracht (west). Here you will find quaint smaller streets with boutique shops and restaurants. We like the scene of Negen Straatjes and enjoyed visiting the area on several occasions during a recent trip to Amsterdam. We particularly enjoyed... More

The best place to so some nice shopping and have some food and/or drinks in Amsterdam. The place is getting a bit touristic so I think in a couple of years there will be a new spot but for now this is the best way to get a taste of the new Amsterdam way of life

This neighbourhood perfectly epitomises Amsterdam for me. Quirky boutiques and handmade items in the prettiest dressed shops. Loads of lovely little cafes where you get eat and drink along the canal. Perfect place to buy unique souvenirs.
