Bathrooms and food area were clean, but the playground equipment was a bit old and dated in some parts. The concept is really neat as it is located underneath the ground in an old parking deck. I was expecting a bit more of a newer and more updated look for the place. My toddler enjoyed himself, but I was unhappy... More

The kids had fun, the place is big and it has areas for all ages but it's filthy and smelly. Both my partner and I had allergy by the time we left.

I find it incredible how the kids play freely and civilized, without any adult supervision. It's a safe place for kids to enjoy at all ages. It's worth the visit. At least 1 hour of a ton of fun!

Great place to bring the little ones for playing, specially if it's raining hard! Friendly personal and good snacks for the kids!

I've been to my share of soft play zones as the mum of 2 toddlers and I have a love hate relationship with them. I love that soft play is an enclosed space for the toddlers but it can be a bit hectic, noisy and hard to keep kids in the right area for their age group. Tun Fun had... More

What to do with your rambunctious youngsters who have walked or biked more than ever before when the fickle weather of A'dam turns inclement? You've hit the amazing Scheepvaart Maritime Museum, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh, even the Dutch Resistance Museum and the Holocaust Museum... Let's be honest for a moment Mom and Dad, your little world travelers have had... More

Great play street Area for kids made in an old underground traffic tunnel. Many "play castles" ranked on age from 4-8. Best of all are the great WiFi connections and relax / eat facilities for parents.

We have received a recommendation on that place from someone local. It was easy to find, next to a market place. My son an I stayed to play in this place and my wife went to the market. The place is rather big. It was empty in the middle of the week. It has two racing lanes (pretty short), playgrounds... More

Staying in Plantage & the East

Neighbourhood Profile
Plantage & the East
The eastern edge of central Amsterdam provides visitors with the chance to imagine the city that Rembrandt called home (and to tour his historic house) while shopping like the thriftiest of locals at Waterlooplein’s massive flea market, or even enjoying a craft beer beside the tallest wooden windmill in The Netherlands. This verdant, serene, and stately part of town is home to Artis Royal Zoo, one of Europe’s oldest (and still best kept) zoos, and Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. It's also an ideal setting for the Dutch outpost of St Petersburg’s Hermitage.
