    Well presented
Very well planned. Audio device worked well and you could pause and resume easily throughout the tour to suit yourself. The house has been designed to replicate the original with well maintained artefacts to make it life like. The etching demonstration was well worth taking part in. Well priced at €17.
Dear Kathryn, thank you for visiting our art studio. I am happy you find it worth the money. We can really use it, because Rembrandt keeps collecting rarities such as the magic lantern, and this hobby is not cheap. Sincerely, Hendrickje (wife of Rembrandt).

    Thorough introduction to Rembrandt
We enjoyed this much more than we expected. The audio tour was very thorough and interesting, easy to use and you could pause it whenever you wanted or revisit areas. We saw Rembrandt’s paintings in the Rijkmuseum as well, but this audio tour gave me a much better idea of the techniques he used and even how he mixed his paints. It was also interesting to focus on his etchings, which I would probably not have bothered to look at otherwise. A good introduction to his life as well. Highly recommended.
Dear Liz, thank you for visiting my art studio. Hendrickje, Titus, Cornelia and myself really enjoyed it. Feel free anytime to stop by again, we might have more interesting paintings for sale. Sincerely, Rembrandt van Rijn

A great introduction to the artist and city if you don’t know much about either.
This was a fun, little experience! It’s about 25mins and I felt that the price was appropriate. I did the VIP ticket which allowed me to choose a time 15 mins before the actual opening time. It included a little sweet snack and drink (water, soda, or juice. The experience includes two rooms that are immersive, but note it is not interactive. It was a great way to learn a little more about Rembrandt’s life within the context of the historical city of Amsterdam. It was very creative and well orchestrated. I recommend attending this towards the beginning of your stay as it will give you a basic level context and the history of 1600s Amsterdam. When you walk out and explore the canals and tight streets, you can start to imagine how it was during those times. And it did not take long, so you can really squeeze it into a larger itinerary, which is how I planned it.

    Everything Rembrandt!
We purchased the Combo Reservation for the Rembrandt’s Amsterdam Experience and the Rembrandthuis Museum. Earlier in the morning, we had an interesting and informative tour at the museum. We weren't sure what to expect from the Rembrandt Experience. It is a well-done visual synopsis os Rembrandt’s life. It takes place in two rooms which envelope and draw you into his life. I will add that while we enjoyed it - it is very short, and I am not sure that it is worth the cost if you had not purchased the combo ticket.
Dear MKTBE, thank you for visiting my art studio and we really appreciate your review. Great to hear you have visited my previous house. I don't go there myself often, I don't want to think about what happened there... that book is closed. I know my previous house is much bigger, but the magic lantern you encountered when you visit my current studio must be exciting too right? Sincerely, Rembrandt van Rijn (and greetings from Hendrickje, Titus and Cornelia as well).

Short but educational and great 5D experience. Totally worth it!!!
It was my very first trip to Amsterdam, from 26.12 - 28.12 and hopefully not my last one. So many places to visit and interesting things to see. My schedule was already full and I couldn't make it to Rembrandt's house. But Rembrandt's Experience was a great alternative and I'm glad that I choose this place. In a short amount of time (20-30 minutes), you'll learn the most important things about Rembrandt's life and family. The 5D experience will leave you speechless, especially if you haven't already experienced something similar before like me. Very educational, with great effects and setup that it will bring you with a short Time travel back to the Dutch Golden Age.

Not anywhere like a true 5D experience. Short illustrated overview of the career of Rembrandt, the experience falls far short of what can be accomplished with modern AV technology. Disappointing is probably the operational word here. Best feature (that you don’t need to do the experience for) is to have a photograph of yourself turned into a Rembrandt painting. Maybe a bit on the touristy side but fun nonetheless.

Wonderfull experience! Really worth it. I prefer traditional type of the museum, but this one was really delightful. At the end you can get nice AI generated picture in style of Rembrandt's painting.

Funny, creative, it gives you an impression of the time in which Rembrandt lived. Available in different languages. However, I must say it is a bit expensive for what you get.

This is a lighter, audio-visual introduction to Rembrandt. It runs for 20 minutes and takes you into a replica of his home/studio. With the lighting and sound it felt a bit Harry Potter-like so I think it would be good for kids. At the end you have a chance to see what you might look like in a Rembrandt painting. They take a photo and an AI engine does the rest. One of mine was very good.

Actually, kind of stumbled upon this while we were in Amsterdam prior to our Rhine River cruise. We decided to check it out and found it to be very interesting and educational. We particularly liked the demonstrations. I would recommend this as an opportunity not only to learn about Rembrandt's life but to also understand the technology of painting masterpieces.

Don’t understand the high ratings. Perhaps this might be fun for those who know nothing about Rembrandt or art? but not for anyone who frequents art museums. Having just come from the Rijksmuseum looking at his paintings, i found it cheesy and a cheap way to make $$ off tourists. There were cheap electronic versions of his paintings with the subjects moving around which was just wrong somehow. Corners of the room revolved to make a different setting, like a very low budget theater. Best I can say is that the woman working there was nice.

Dear Charlotte, thank you for visiting my art studio and I really appreciate your review. Great you love Amsterdam and its art and history. Unfortunately you rated your visit to my studio not as I expected as most visitors leave in awe. Maybe observing my work in a museum or gallery would more more interesting for you compared to experiencing my life story through the Magic Lantern in 5D. Sincerely, Rembrandt van Rijn

We enjoyed this "experience" very much. It is more meaningful if you are interested in or have any background with Rembrandt. The host was quite pleasant and the free drinks and snacks, along with the souvenirs, were a nice touch. The presentation is really fun to watch, with a lot going on, especially as the show develops. A great place to get out of the weather, sit down and be educated and entertained at the same time, with some new knowledge to take home.

This was a somewhat entertaining introduction to the life of legendary Dutch artist Rembrandt. The story is told through a number of framed moving paintings and revolving walls. The technology does feel a little dated in this day & age but it was fairly enjoyable nonetheless. The extra dimensions were an aroma and a rumbling floor. Only two rooms make up this experience and it only lasts about 20 minutes.
