We walked a lot along the banks of this canal, and enjoyed the Arandsnest pub , and a superb meal at Brasserie Ambassade, both of which are on Herengracht. But it is beautiful to admire the Dutch architecture from years gone by.

We popped in for a late lunch, not realising how popular the place is for locals...no wonder, good food, good service and good price.
