It's one of the beautiful canals in Amsterdam. I recommend visiting it both from the boat and on foot. There are many nice buildings and bridges.

We took the time to walk most of the canals. Each has a history and beauty. It is great to walk the cAnals and stop in the stope S and cafes.

We love the canal streets, especially the major inner canals. As you walk around, look for the 'gable stones' on the buildings. Keep in mind that most of these canal houses are from the 1700s and 1800s. The houseboats, the trees, the cafes, the buildings!...More

The Keizersgracht and it's Prinsen and Herengracht consorts are diverse. There are busy sections and streches where you can escape the Tourist crowds. The negen straatjes harbour some quaint shops.

Nice place to stop and enjoy the view and take in a few quick pictures, especially in summer. Be wary of cyclists.

The Keizersgracht was well worth the boat trip to view the amazing architecture around central Amsterdam - highly recommended.

Walk along the canal, enjoy the seeing the homes in the area. Very pretty. Between the small boats in the canal, the bikes and the people walking the area, you know that this is people friendly area. We truly enjoyed just walking around.

Great place to take pics, the bridges of Amsterdam. They're beautiful and provides great shot opportunities. If you're on foot, keep an eye out for the bicycles. You don't want to be run over!
