We visited a few coffee shops during our stay and this was the one we both liked the most. I don't smoke so I can't personally comment on that but the people I was with liked it. But the atmosphere is nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The explained the edibles to me and asked questions unlike other... More

We went here after all the reviews and cute pictures of Bowie. I agree with the previous reviews about the quality of their product. The guy that helped me out was very friendly and gave me exactly what i i was looking for. The Dampkring has a nice and comfortable atmosphere. I never got a chance to order a drink,... More

First time in Amsterdam, came in with a couple of friends. Very cool vibe, nicely decorated, good music and what looked to be a very comprehensive selection of produce. What made this first time visit all the more memorable was that one of our friends, overindulged a little too much and passed out on his feet. Twice. We were slightly... More

Out of all the coffeeshops I went, I'd say dampkring is my favourite. Their "stuff" is really good as compared o other coffeeshops.

I can never leave Amsterdam without spending some time at the Dampkring. This place has some really high quality and variety of weed. The interior design, the food, smoothies and the cosy environment all make Dampkring one of my top favorite coffeeshops in Amsterdam. Often the bartenders are rude and this is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars... More

I first wen to the Dampkring in 2003, and I always go back when I am in Amsterdam. Absolute best coffee shop. The team working here are always helpful and will point you in the right direction when choosing off their great menu. You can't ignore this shop, it's a must see.

This is the most basic coffeeshop in Amsterdam. If you're a basic person, go to Dampkring. If you're not basic, go somewhere better. Dampkirng is for basic people.

Took my girlfriend here, who wouldn't smoke, to have some space cake. We had the rainbow cake and it was pretty tasty! We had it with an English breakfast and green tea. Actually some of the best tea we had in Amsterdam. As they may warn you at the bar, the cake takes about an hour to kick in and... More

I been a costumer since 2000 and every time I'm in town I stop for a smoke! The menu is one of the best in town. Also in the Moroccan hash is high quality. The service is Dutch and good... Don't expect to be treated like in the Americas.

Thank Richard V
