Wonderful 1.5 hour canal cruise down and around Central Amsterdam. Captain Stuart was very informative, pointing out historic homes, business, history and folklore. We highly recommend taking this tour. Being Amsterdam, expect a least a little rain, non of which hindered our experience!

A great view of Amsterdam from the water in a classic old saloon boat. Very knowledgable skipper who explained the history of Amsterdam from inception to the modern day. Highly recommend this, a little more expensive than the commercial cruises but well worth it.

After taking a canal cruise in one of the typical large boats, I decided to search for an affordable shared cruise in one of the older wooden "salon boats" we saw from time to time. Although I was initially able to find private cruises on such salon boats, the price for a private hire one hour cruise seemed to begin... More

This was a great 75 minute tour of Amsterdam by canal. I was surprised how much area was covered (east to west). Captain was very knowledgeable about the city's history and presented in an entertaining way. Drinks on board - coffee and tea were complimentary; beer was €3.

We had only part of a day in Amsterdam, so decided to see the city through a canal boat ride. The Iris was a lovely boat, polished wood and brass, with comfortable plush seating and free tea and coffee. Our skipper, Sjoed, was terrific. His English is great, he is very knowledgeable about the city and we loved his charming... More

Really nice way to spend an hour on the canals of Amsterdam. Captain was informative and engaging, and the boat itself was in great condition. A bit more expensive than some of the other tours, but good nonetheless

We booked this through our hotel and it was so simple. 22.50 each for a tour which lasted an hour and a half which was perfect. We took the 11.30 tour and the young captain came into the hotel and brought us to the boat. It is literally across the street from our hotel (Hotel Estherea) the best part of... More

Me and two friends took a canal tour with Amsterdam Boat Center - we ended up having the boat to ourselves, and our tour guide was awesome! He was so friendly and knowledgeable - thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend to anyone.
