Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A woooow experience for me and my company :) From the tickets booking through the warm welcoming by the staff to the magnificent ''Bridges of Madison County''.
The theatre is beautiful, located in the city centre, easy access. We felt so welcomed, the staff people were really helpful, already in communication through email before the performance. As being non-dutch speaker, english was not a problem. They helped us to organise everything, explained and showed us where to go. I appreciated the break snack in a nice theatre cafe too :) Everything worked, lovely performance with stunning actors and musicians, just grand atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone still hesitating :)

We went to see the musical Carmen La Cubana. The theater is beautiful, the seating is quite comfortable as the slope of rows and seats allow easy viewing of the stage for all. I was sitting in the 9th row at the left wing but I had a total view of the whole stage all the time.
The acoustics in the theater was very good. Also there was a free cloak service, too. It was just a wonderful experience. The only negative thing in this wonderful experience that the foyer could not sell me chocolate in the intermission since they do not accept cash and I left my credit card at the hotel.

Went with friends to see "Cirque Stiletto 3 with Karin Bloemen as ringmaster". This was a splendid night out. The theater is located near the Leidseplein which you can reach by tram no's: 1,2,5,7 & 10 as well as bus no's:170,171.197
We booked our tickets simply on line via the theaters' website, just open an account for it's a free service and print out your own e-tickets.
A converted cinema is a fantastic place. Staff totally geared to make your visit a special occasion, extremely helpful and accommodating. You may book an interval snack, which will be at your reserved table, for your interlude experience at the spacious high tech theaters 'Grand Cafe'. Your interval stay is monitored with curfew countdown to ensure punctual return to the show. All in all, I found it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My interval snack was a great value at Euro.7.50 I had a beer,
a small portion of fruit&nuts, a nice warm 'bitterball' with mustard (a typical Dutch snack treat think croquet's) some Parma ham, a small skewer with cheese an a small
piece of moist carrot cake. All appeared fresh and not the usual tired theater fair. Easy access via spacious lifts, wide carpeted staircases, toilet facilities spacious and
clean! In fact, the whole theater scrupulously clean as if it was build yesterday. Now, listen to RoofG, I think you will be heart pressed to complain about this venue.
Total costs for two people including interval arrangement, Euro:125.00

We visited this theatre for the first time, a show of Ellen ten Damme (very nice by the way). The theatre has a nice cosy atmosphere, with many bars for drinks and snacks.

Went here for the Amadeus show. Lovely theatre with great seating. Not too big. Rows are sloped so you always havr a good view of the stage. Very nice staff!

Visit the theater for a Dutch play. Very well performed in a good equipped theater hall.
Seats are good with a good view on the stage.

Stilysh modern theatre. A pleasure to see a show, to spend an evening. If only the programming would be a bit more appealing. Forget the longrunning blockbuster show, they tend to be shallow and dull. Better look out for the more special events and shows. Dinner in the (not so) grand café is a good idea.

This well know Dutch story from 1941-1946 by Piet Bakker made furor in the middle of eighties of the last century when was produced the movie with 14 years old Danny de Munk .
The musical "Ciske de Rat" gives deeper vision of the story because you see and hear alive acting Danny de Munk as Ciske adult, Silver Metz as Ciske kid and great theater group.
For foreigners It is advised to read the story before you go to watch this musical as it is in Dutch.
Bravo Danny! Bravo Silver Metz!
