Spent about an hour here on a Sunday night but didn’t particularly enjoy ourselves. It was jam packed, very loud and too hot. We had a quick drink and moved on to somewhere more chilled out. Strange décor as well.

I chatted with I think the owner?? Very helpful and friendly guy. Wasn't too shire about the cakes as it was the first time. He advised the best way and said just say no if you have had enough. Nice atmosphere in the place. Very chilled. I would recommend it for anyone experienced or first timers.

Went here on our first night, It was very packed and could barely fit through the doorway. The whole coffee shop was so filled with smoke it was hard to see! (I know that is expected but blimey) and there was nowhere to sit as per. The staff were lovely though and very helpful.

If you want to visit an Amsterdam coffee shop, this is a great one. LOTS of smoke, so be prepared for a possible secondhand contact buzz. Probably not for the asthmatic! Fun vibe. Good sized crowd.

This cafe was the first one I visited in Amsterdam. I was unsure which one to get and the bloke at the bar advised me what all of the different ones were and how strong they were. The drinks are priced well compared to other coffeeshops too. A nice atmosphere here, everyone is very chilled out. Got a 420 lighter... More

Great cafe with good drink options, decent seating, and great service. Shop is very full of tourists though so it is usually pretty crowded. I recommend going in the early afternoon for a more laid back experience.

We visited here most days in Amsterdam, the staff were lovely and really helpful each time. It is a small coffee shop, reminiscent of an old Amsterdam Bar which i can only assume it once was. The coffee was delicious and it was by far our favourite coffee shop out of them all. The inhouse cat Bobby is an old... More

One of the best coffee shops in Amsterdam. Having your drink while "relaxing" and watching interesting documentaries. A 5 star experience.

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
