Had a great time with Paap telling us all sorts of anecdotes about the Amsterdam Canals. Small boat, (seats about 10) rather than the monsters - he was able to circle back if something caught our eye, the huge tour boats are nowhere near as...More

Loved this canal tour. It was informative and friendly. We learnt so much more about Amsterdam. Kids and parents loved it. We booked another tour as well and this one far exceeded the tour provided by a major company.

We recently booked for our family of 4 to take a private canal tour for 2 hours. Guide was on time and very knowledgeable. We went from tiny canals to open water near the cruise ships. We brought on some wine, fruit and cheese without...More

Our 90 minute canal trip was wonderful. Our skipper was knowledgable and friendly, and the boat small enough to fit in the smaller canals. We only had 5 people total so plenty of room to move around for photos. The weather was perfect, an added...More

We booked a private canal tour. Captain Rob was great! They picked us up in a location close to our hotel. This was very handy as we were traveling with our littles (3/8). It was the perfect amount of information during the tour. The boats...More

Boat captain never tired of us bombarding him with questions. Tour was personalized to give the 10 year old a special time. We never expected to see zoo animals! The boat was clean and quiet. The service was punctual and affordable. Viewing the city from...More

This was a great tour with a very comfortable boat. The clear wind screens were perfect to block the cold wind while still being able to see the sights. There was plenty of room for our group of four to spread out. Be sure to...More

This was a great boat trip with a real 'live' Dutch guide – much better than a boring recording from an ear-piece. He was happy to take questions, and chat. The relatively small group (10 people) made it very pleasant and relaxed. It was a...More

To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the
Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its
saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to
view some of the city’s most picturesque canals,
historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples
of traditional local architecture – not to mention
Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist
temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some

Happy New Year's! We are looking to do a canal cruise either afternoon April 3 or April 4th for our family of 4 and would prefer to have just our group. We will be trying to book tickets for a museum but cannot reserve until first week of February. Is it too chilly for a canal cruise this time of year? Thanky you. M

We will be spending our last night in Amsterdam on Sunday, October 9th and would be interested in a sunset evening cruise. We have 4 American adults in our group and would be interested in a private tour. We, as noted by others, would be open to going with other guests. We'll be staying at Moevenpick in Amsterdam. Will you be available? We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you1
