We wanted a healthy salad and asked several employees in the food court to point us to the right food station, but nobody seemed to have any idea of what was on offer and didn't seem to care. We finally found the large salad station but it was completely empty and featured only a tureen of soup. Why? So we ended up with cheese and salad sandwiches, which were extremely dry (possibly a Dutch thing) so needed butter. Scam Alert: I ordered a product from them on their website. They sent me product and it was not delivered due to a mistake in the recipient name. They took one month to process the return of the product. After that, they claimed that they sent me the refund to my bank and it never reached my bank account even after two months. Please be aware of this situation and also I recommend to order from somewhere else since they are not good with running an online store.

This large department store has lots of high end brands which seems to be a focus. There was a sale on when we visited but, despite looking high and low for a bargain that we both liked, we came away empty handed.

Hi,
I had recently visited Amsterdam as a tourist and wanted to take a gift back home to USA for my mother. I can to your store on 7th July 2024 I purchased an Alma BB Epi Noir bag in black color for €1650 with a tax refund amount of €198 refund due. I was told by store associate helping me that Bijenkorf has a tax refund kiosk in the mall itself , where the refund can go back to my card and the process will be very simple without any hassles to go through at the airport. Listening to this I went upstairs and an employee from Global Blue guided me with the whole process, I scanned my passport and credit card and the employee watched me complete the whole process, to get refund back on my credit card. I asked and confirmed with him thrice that is there anything else I need to do or go to airport and finish he said NO, all the times. I came back home in USA and I get an email from Global blue that my tax refund docs are incomplete and that a stamp from customs is required. I am very much upset at this experience and completely blame the misguidance from Louis Vuitton employee and Global blue employee at the mall for misleading me into wrong information.
A wonderful memory for us turned into a sour experience

I ordered for a Garmin Fenix 8 which on their website said is a 1 day delivery. I went to the store too at Amsterdam near Central to confirm the process regarding tax refund and if 1 day delivery is honoured, they said it is.
Ordered the watch, it's been 6 days, it's still at their yard and I have already left the country. I asked them for a refund from customer care and have been contacting them everyday since 7th November with just a reply that "Our specialist team is looking into it". It's a 1100 Euro watch and I don't want to pay my credit card company that much money for something which is going to be refunded to me. I have been explaining on the customer care almost everyday and the empty promises just don't stop. On their app with my account, it still says will be delivered on 7th November, today's date is 12th November.
I would never order anything from you lot again, it can't take this long to understand that you lot have goofed up and the customer needs to be given his money back.

Visited this luxurious departmental store on a recent visit to Hague. It is located in the city centre and stands out. It has five floors where you can shop till you drop for fashion, shoes, bags, kids clothes, perfume, jewellery, homeward and food as well. The layout is very good and the ambience great. Not to be missed!

It’s 2 degrees outside, so when going out people wear winter clothes. At the bijenkorf they don’t care for their clients, employees like to walk around in t shirts so they boost the heater +26 . Can’t stay longer than 10 minutes in this sauna. My advice; bring your summer clothes when visiting the Bijenkorf in Januari!

I had a very disappointing experience at the Bijenkorf yesterday. I went to the store to buy a new dress for a special occasion, and I was really excited about the selection. When I tried on the dress I wanted, I found it was poorly made and didn't fit properly. I took it back to the till to exchange it but the staff were very rude and unhelpful. They said I couldn't exchange the dress because it had been worn, even if only for a few minutes. I was really disappointed with the way I was treated, and I wouldn't recommend De Bijenkorf to anyone.

Bought an item in cooking dept. which I could trade-in if the colour was not favourite. Receiver of gift wanted another colour. Client service is not able to connect me with the dept. nor wants to check if other colours are available.
So I should drive an hour to central Amsterdam to find out myself if the colour might be available ? Shame on you..

We're sorry to read you did not find our customer service satisfactory.
It is indeed not always possible to check store stock information, especially during busy times like december or a big Sale. Our colleagues in the stores are not able to receive calls because they are busy helping customers in the store itself and also with keeping the store tidy and stocked. And indeed, store bought items can only be returned in the stores. Hopefully you were able to return the present and find something more suitable.

I was waiting opposite Charlotte Tilbury... I was approached by a balding gentleman from security. Whether I want to stand a little further away from the scarves because the customers can't reach them... incomprehensible!
I have always experienced De Bijenkorf as a very pleasant store.

we are 5 guys, planning for the party on 3rd April. I just want to be confirmed...Does it need any kind of pre booking for the entry passes as we will be staying in North Goa and only for the party will be travelling to South Goa. And stag entry is allowed!!!!!
