A photographer's dream. Colours, building designs, bridges, old boats all there to be photographed. Combine the Docklands with Azartplein and see the wide selection of little bridges over tiny canals. Bus 48 from Central station takes you there.

If you want to escape the crowd of Amsterdam and have a breath just go there and walk along the docks... Dutch urban planners did an amazing work in fixing this industrial part of the town which look so new and modern and vibrant .

In this part of town I visited Amsterdam ArenaA. Seen from the train this neighborhood looks like a modern one,with a lot of new buildings,with glass facades and interesting architecture.

We joined our APT cruise ship here and noticed the many modern buildings across the water. It's a fine example of modern architecture but to be honest I think that the older buildings in Amsterdam are far more beautiful.
