I went at around 10am on a Saturday morning and was not disappointed, it is only open on a Saturday so plan accordingly. Stall upon stall of amazing produce, tantalizing baked goods, meats and charcuterie, an assortment of prepared foods to feast on, cheeses, seafood,...More

Very nice weekend market tucked away in Amsterdam. Visited on a Saturday as we had heard it was a great farmer's market and is also nearby Winkel (famous for their Apple cakes). Relaxing to walk through the stalls - most vendors were giving out free...More

Not too far from the central train station, the Noordermarkt is a great place to shop with both tourists and locals in an open air setting. Great place to get some food to have a picnic(meats, cheeses, bread, desserts), when you go to see the...More

This market had loads of random stuff: old, new, cheap, expensive..... I enjoyed most the food which also very different in taste and price. Plenty of organic options.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
