Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's a beautiful church inside with a lot of history. It is open to the public on Tuesday evening, Thursday in the daytime, Friday evening and Sunday at 5pm.

I agree this is a beautiful church fromthe outside but I have been by several times and it is never open. The gates are chained shut.

Mozes En Aaronkerk is an absolutely stunning church located in the beautiful Waterlooplein ,this is a lovely square were the famous flea market is held.
The church itself looks awesome, the 4 main columns and two impressive towers look superb and easily dominate the immediate area and when the hassle of the crowds gets too much in the market area makes for a haven of peace.
Mozes En Aaronkerk is easy to locate by jumping metro 51.53.54 or tram number 9 or 4 to stop Waterlooplein were you will find this beautiful church.
A beautiful church in a great location and well worth checking out.

We walked past this church several times as it was on the way to and from the hotel. It's located on a busy junction. The building looks ok form the front, but rather unimpressive from every other side and was closed throughout our stay.

It is quite big for Amsterdam churches but not very pretty neither open to see what's inside, so not really worth a visit.

The church is quite amazing in that it stands out so obviously as completely different in design and architecture to the other buildings all around it. It has an imperious feel when you're standing in full view of it.
The area surrounding this church is also fantastic in that markets are held here and go quite a long distance with many types of items to see - some will amuse you and have you wondering why anyone would buy it but that's Amsterdam, it's colourful and different.

This was a beautiful church that we visited on our latest holiday to Amsterdam.
We were here heading to the fantastic café LUNCH CAFÉ WATERLOO and also to have a look at the famous flea market here and could'nt resist having a look around the church.
The church is beautiful ,it dominates the square and is very eyecatching .
The two main tower's and 4 column's remind me of the architecture in Brussel's Bourse area.
As this is also in the same square as one of Amsterdam's biggest flea market's it attract's it's fair share of tourist's and this square in general is busy and has some really nice café's.
Very easy to locate, jump tram 9 or 14 or the metro 51.53.54 to stop WATERLOOPLEIN and the church ,flea market and café's are really easy to find.
A beautiful church in a lively busy square and well worth checking out.

This is an interesting place because it combines the beauty of an old church's architecture and art with information about the charitable work of the Community of Sant'Egidio which worships here. A reminder that the worship of God should involve service to humankind. After the hustle and bustle of the Waterlooplein market it provided some moments of peace and quiet. The stations of the cross along the side walls are splendid.

Upon visiting Waterloo, we were instantly greeted by this beautiful building which I instantly identified as a church due to the massive Jesus statue! I was instantly captivated and found my body being pulled towards the church in a form of desperation to see it up close; it was as though I had been put in a trance. I spent a few moments admiring the beauty before leaving the church however, every time I saw it I just had to look again; absolutely beautiful!!
