Your driver/guide will show you all the famous sights, drive through the hidden alleyways and let you enjoy the serene countryside. On every sidecar motorcycle there is room for 2 passengers, 3 including the driver. All tours include many stops and lots of photo opportunities. Great way to explore the Dutch countryside and avoid the tour buses! Douwe customized the tour to what we wanted to see/do and made it a memorable experience!

Ok so you have done all the regular things on all the guide book list.
But you want something different? Off the beaten path? A little more one on one attention? And, of course, more adventure? Well this is a perfect match for you.
Three hours of scenic back paths and villages with walk about in the villages and harbors as well as a refreshment stop at a locally owned spot with great conversation before heading back to the city.

Literally this was the best experience ever !!!
I booked this for my partners birthday with our friends and we all had such fun.
Our drivers were Guy & Fedor , both such charming and informative hosts ,we saw some lovely countryside, windmills & villages which without their knowledge of the area we would have never seen.
Stopped for a coffee and never once did we feel rushed ...such a brilliant day .
Douwe was so helpful helping me organise this from the UK , so all I can say is if you want an experience never to forget .....Book it !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with D. We got to see the beautiful countryside and windmills in rare form! D took us to the best places to grab a bite of local seafood. He is a great guide explaining about the local culture and giving us a fun and safe ride. We loved his personality and attentiveness. We highly recommend this tour!!!

I highly recommend this motorcycle sidecar tour! Bert was an amazing tour guide, informative, funny and made the experience the best part of my Amsterdam trip! Getting to see the city and beautiful countryside from that vantage point was something I'll never forget! It rained most of the time, but I enjoyed it so much, I didn't even care lol. Definitely add this to your Amsterdam itinerary, you won't regret it!

We just got home from our Europe trip and Amsterdam was our last stop. I found this company on TripAdvisor and we were looking forward to this tour over the course of our 16 day vacation! We were a little bummed because it started to rain as we were leaving but the skies cleared up and we went on our way to the countryside with Neils. This is by far one of the most unique and memorable activities we have ever done together and the countryside is beautiful. We felt so safe with Neils as our driver and he even gave us history as we walked through the old fishing town and knew exactly where to pull off for good photo opportunities! This is something we will never forget and it was some of the best money we’ve ever spent. I think that everyone coming to Amsterdam should see the city this way!

This is such a fun and unique way to experience the Dutch countryside! Dee is a funny,engaging and knowledgable host.
Definitely one of the highlights of our trip! If you are looking for an adventure...don't hesitate to book it!

Wow, I was hoping it was going to be a highlight of my trip, and Dee did not disappoint. I had so much fun and my mates at home we all envious of the photos and videos I sent home. This is a must do and see in Amsterdam. I learnt heaps about Amsterdam and how it was set up with the Dam construction and saw some beautiful country and lake side. If in doubt, do it, you will not regret at all. Thanks Dee for a great day.

Had a wonderful tour with Amsterdam Sidecar Tees and our guide/General Manager, Dee. What a way to see the Dutch countryside and the Windmills. We also stopped in the quintessential Dutch village of Volendam for lunch. The land reclamation and water control the Dutch have accomplished is nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for some fun and adventure, go with Dee and Amsterdam Sidecar tours.

All tours are guided and every sidecar motorcycle comes with a driver. There is no self driving.

A tour typically starts at 11 AM, but any time is possible upon request. All tours include a pick up and drop off from the customer's hotel, however, another pick up or drop off location is also possible upon request.

A friend suggested we do this in March 2016 (probably not the best weather do this). Can anyone tell me if the guide is the one that drives the sidecar or is this something we do ourselves?

The guide also drives the sidecar. With the weather you have to be lucky, allthough in March it can be beautiful and sunny as well. The guide also provides very warm clothing.
