Janskerk is quite an old church building, but not a church any longer. Apparently it hosts exhibitions and the like. On the day we were there it appeared to be closed or limited entry for some reason, so we missed out on going inside. It is an early 14th century construction and it definitely is rather well preserved, and for that reason alone it deserves a visit if you happen to be passing by.…

Wonderful location with special exhibitions. Although the explanatory texts are dutch only, it's worthwhile a (free!) visit for foreigners as well: the oldest church, and the courtyard quiet and rustic.

It was pretty on the outside, but we could not enter, part of it was closed for reforms. There was no one around to give information.
