Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This medieval herb garden right next to the cathedral is surrounded on the other three sides by cloisters. The story of St. Martin (the patron saint of Utrecht) is depicted in old stone sculptures above the cloisters. This place is the spiritual centre of the City of Utrecht - you can feel it.

Little Pandhof Domkerk is such a lovely tranquil garden on the premises of the Domkerk. Despite the fact that it is relatively “young” (it was completed in 1972), the garden blends gracefully with the Gothic architecture of the Cathedral. Charming corner of atmospheric Utrecht.

Visited this during winter and love the garden with the backdrop of the church and cloister. It was nice even without blooming flowers. Worth visiting.

This is something that is easily missed. Situated on the side of the Cathedral, this garden / cloister is beautiful, peaceful and serene. So spend some time here to relax and get back your energy.

It’s a nice garden, particularly with the cloisters surrounding, but takes maybe 10 min to enjoy and isn’t worth going far out of your way to visit.?

Don't forget to check this out when you are in the area. It is right next to the church and free to enter. The garden is very pretty and we loved walking around the corridor that surrounds the garden. Sit on a bench and rest your feet for a little while.

Inside the old convent you find this lovely little garden surrounded by the cloister walk. Sit down and relax for a while.

Having the opportunity to attend a PhD defense in this building, surely the experience was even better, as I could visit different University rooms rather than the pandhof. But just for the Pandhof it could worth a pick in.

We visited the cathedral (post-reformation so not a lot of catholic adornments) but enjoyed this little cloister. It was December so not a lot of plants, but still charming. No seats.
