To see this house in person far exceeds what any photograph could show. Our guide, Mathias, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining; and the features of the house were extraordinary for the 1920’s.

You need to do the tour. Looking/taking photos from the street and not going inside is a waste. Pay the money, do the tour (mostly audio but you also have a guide). You will see so much by being there, inside. So many interesting design...More

Beware that the entry fee for the house no longer includes entry to the Centraal Museum so €16.50 each is very pricy for a 1 hour audio tour. If you want to go to the Centrall Museum as well then the cost is €30 each!...More

Iconic 1917-30 architecture neoplasticism movement at Rietveld Schröder House near Central Utrecht. Tickets/tours must be booked in advance. Not open Monday but late opening Thursday. UNESCO World Heritage site.
