Located just outside the center of Utrecht, but reasonably close by. Nice surprise, great set-up, many original plants and trees. Worth a visit.

It's a lovely space to wander in the beautifull gardens. It's a quiet place, where are many different plants to see. There are also tropical greenhouses. But above all there is a sirene quiet atmosphere.

Years the botanical gardens were the decor of a festival called "de Beschaving". A wonderfull place in the middle of the university buildings. Definately worth a stroll.

Easy to do in an afternoon. Enjoyable and the plants are well labeled! Take an umbrella because it can start to rain at any time.

This is not a very large or extensive garden but it's lovely. Located over by the university science area it's not the best looking part of town. I would give this a kind of average because if you go out into the Dutch countryside you'll...More

Very lovely gardens with interesting plants, worth visiting. The water lilies are huge and it seems babies are photographed on them (although I still find it hard to believe!)

Easy to reach by bus from the station. There is a lot to see here and there is a real emphasis on education. There are many different parts of the garden, including greenhouses, a large rock garden, a bamboo forest and a vegetable garden. The...More

The garden was 20 minute taxi from a central hotel. We were only there for an hour and a half due to other plans but we could easily have stayed for three to four hours. There is a café and shop. The garden was really...More
