The inside is completely renewed and, unless you visit for religious purposes, there is nothing to be found interesting. The outside is the most interesting part, the surroundings are also to be checked moreover if you have watched the classic movie Nosferatu the vampyre, since that is the area of the city where the main character lives. Note that the... More

With its tower leaning 2m and its sheer size and age, this is quite a place. Add to this, the large number of underground crypts housing the tombs of all the key families of old Delft including Vermeer, and this place is a must see. Located in an interesting part of old Delft, there is plenty to see here.

Wonderful, airy and bright in winter sun. Fascinating to anyone interested in Dutch history. Organ being tuned during our visit added another dimension. Ticket covers both churches.

This historic church houses the graves of a variety of figures significant in European history, definitely worth spending a few minutes here when you are in the Delft centre.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Oude Kerk. Very historic, rather cold interior because of the stripping of Catholic icons after the Reformation. Johannes Vermeer is buried in the church with a plaque marking the location. This is a must see attraction in Delft. We highly recommend a visit.

There are no Vermeers in this city, but you can visit the city of his inspiration, and the Vermeer center has reproductions of all 34 of his paintings. visit his tomb in the church, and walk the canals. quaint, marketplace, vintage shops selling 400 year old Delft tiles. you and also tour 2 delft ceramics factories. wonderful shops and restaurants.... Oude Kerk is a historical church located along Oude Delft canal. You will see this important landmark quite easily by locating the 75 metre tall bell tower which can be seen throughout the city centre. Opening hours were 9am to 6pm (Mon-Sat), closed on Sundays during our October visit. Opening hours change with the seasons so best to check online... More

We were astonished to have to pay 4€ to visit a protestant church where there is very little to see. It was a combination ticket for both the ‘Oude Kerk’ (Old Church) and the ‘Nieuwe Kerk’ (New Church) and there was a voucher for a coffee (before 5 p.m.) thrown in, but still. The church was built between the 13th... More

The most historical corner of the city. Impressive to structure, central the position and very wonderful the whole complex (church, statue and city hall). One of the best memories I will bring back from Delft.
