Since september 2016 Naturalis proudly owns one of the finest T-Rex skeletons in the world and the City of Leiden is proud of it! "T-Rex in town" The visit to the museum isn't cheap (that's why the fout dots instead of five) because the most of it is temporarily closed but what a Dino! I think it's worth the money... More

Very nice museum to bring your children and get them entertained with all sort of things about animals, science, life and nature. It extends on 3-4 floors. Interactivity is the nicest thing. Interesting for adults too.

As the museum is currently being renewed, the current exhibition is rather small. However, the most complete T.rex skeleton in the world (combined with 'living' displays of various dino's) makes up for this. The skeleton is impressive and a real attraction to kids. The interactive dino games and 'fossil' digging are great as well. Be advised that the T.rex will... More

It's pretty big and has a lot of information about everything. They had all kind of animals dissected, which I found pretty creepy 'cause I'm not a big fun of taxidermy, but it was really impressive. I loved the play area. Nice for adults and kids.

If you are interested in ancient historic biology...Its absolutely awesome. fossils from 200 million years old, dinosaur skeletons..I took my daughter of 9 there, and she loved it. Lots of things to see and learn...and not only for children. Planned our next trip to see the T-Rex soon!

We took oud Son to see the T-rex with two of huis friends on a Sunday. We reserves an entry time several weeks before and we're looking forward to the visit. Somewhere we had seen that the visit would be easily 90-120 minutes, but we struggled to keep the boys in the museum for 50. While seeing the T-Rex is... More

Great visit - especially if you have smaller kids. You can decide how intense you want the information and spend an hour to three hours very easily at this great museum. Exhibits are informative and well maintained.

...and, once discovered, we will never forget it. We had been already twice in a short while and we will go back, because Naturalis has so much to offer and so many news, as the purchase and exhibition of the T-Rex since...yesterday! The prehystorical section of the museum is really fascinating. The museum is a space well designed: each floor... More

Spread over 5 floors lots to see,was busy but not crowded it's a bit of a walk from the car park. Think it was 54 euros including parking two... More
