Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The park is easy to get to, the cafe looked nice but I didn't go in. If you are looking to stroll around, the park isn't as large as I thought. The grass was dead. Some spots were nice but overall I would have chosen to do something else. The picture I have included was the nicest one I took. There are a few ducks and a bit of wildlife.

One of my favourite places in Rotterdam. Ideal for a walk through this beautiful city park, picnic, BBQ and relax. Several good places to have drinks, coffee, snacks or meals. Also very highly recommended to walk along the river and/or the wide green avenue in the middle, past Veerhaven marina, through the Shipping Quarter (Scheepvaartkwartier), the most beautiful neighbourhood of Rotterdam, between Het Park and the Erasmus Bridge.

As you walk from the river toward the Euromast or other sites, you have a nice stroll through this enormous park. Beautiful sites int he park and a fun walking bridge that will get your feet wet for sure!

Free toilet in the park.

A lot of people enjoying the sun and visiting.

I found Het Park while I was exploring Roterdam by foot. I had left the Museum Park and discovered it en route to the Station where my audio tour was due to begin.

The park is well set back from the road so you get some peace and quiet. It is dappled with sun and shade so great for both hot and rainy days. There are some lovely sculptures and the park is generally well looked after (despite a small area that looked like it had seen an all night drinking session!)

My visit was in the rain, but the trees provided enough shelter for me and luckily the paths were free from puddles.

It is easy to spend a long time in this park because of the sculptures and curving paths taking you past many lakes. The paths are generally pretty flat and easy to walk on - suitable for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users.

I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip.

This is a good-size park in the city of Rotterdam. Many small lakes and beautiful landscapes. In mid-May saw some Egyptian geese with babies as well as other birds. Many large trees, green areas and some flowers made for a very pretty place to walk even if it is a bit cool. One negative comment is that we looked but failed to find a public bathroom. Did not see any during our walk in Rotterdam.

We walked through Het Park a couple of times during our recent trip and enjoyed it both times.

The park is clean and tidy and a real retreat form the city.

It was quite chilly on both occasions and we could only imagine how nice it would be on warm days.

The park, it turns out, has a periphery, according to my GPS almost exactly 2 km, making it an excellent jogging location. It is almost entirely traffic free and has lots of interesting things to see as you perambulate. If you are not feeling energetic, there are many places to sit (and even places to snack).

Breathtaking picturesque beauty, and comes alive in summers. What a great place to walk around, spend some quiet time, take a break from city's hustle-bustle. You'll barely hear a sound from the city. Makes you feel cozy and is a short walk from public transport - thanks to its own tower 'the Euromast'. A good place not only to take your pets, but do a picnic or simply sit down with a book in your hand. Hosts a restaurant as well. The road next to Euromast also has Water Duckie and nearest Tram stop is a few steps away.

Spent half an hour or so wandering around and sitting in this park on a recent visit to Rotterdam and I must say it is very nice. The lakes with ducks, geese and moorhens are an attraction on their own but the variety of trees, shrubs etc and the odd statue and sculpture make this a very tranquil place to spend your time.
